Car and Driver Requirements 2025
Tech Inspection
Interior:
-All vehicles must have functional stock seat belts, or certified 3/4/5 point harnesses.
-Convertibles must have factory/custom roll bar or cage. 2 point bar is acceptable if it is factory. Aftermarket 4 point+
-Seats must be secure and not move around.
-Loose items must be removed from cabin.
-Fire extinguisher mounted within reach of driver.
-Brake pedal must have pressure with one push.
-No header-dump or extreme noise
Exterior/Engine Compartment:
-NO LEAKING FLUIDS OF ANY KIND. This will be heavily enforced. Accidents will be forgivable. Negligence will not be.
-Water only in radiator April-November. Water wetter is allowed. Must have a functioning radiator catch can.
-Up to 50% antifreeze allowed Nov-March.
- Vehicle must have all wheel studs/nuts/bolts.
- Battery must be secure (no bungee cords).
- Must have at least one headlight and one taillight to drift after dark.
-No full size trucks. Cars and mini trucks only.
Driver Requirements
-All drivers must sign a waiver and go thru tech inspection before entering the track.
-Drivers must have a Snell or DOT certified helmet.
-Drivers must be 18 years of age. We will accept younger drivers (14), with parents present and additional waivers signed.
-If a driver is found to be under the influence before the track goes cold for the night, him and anyone there for him, will be asked to leave. He will also forfeit the driver fee.
-CARS staff will determine unsafe conduct, and can remove anyone displaying this behavior.
-We can ban anyone at any time for blatantly disrespecting the track. I.E. excessive dirt drops, repeatedly flying off track. Over 3 years now and we haven't had to do that, so please don't be the first lol!
